Zana M. Cable, 80, of Moberly, died Sunday, December 20, at 6:50 a.m. in North Village Park. Mrs. Cable was born October 16, 1918, at Renick, Mo., a daughter of the late Clarence and Jewell Settle Daniel. She was a homemaker and a member of the Renick Baptist Church.
On July 5, 1944, she married Fred M. Cable at Kansas City, MO and he preceded her in death February 8, 1992. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers; Melvin Daniel and R.T. Daniel.
Mrs. Cable is survived by a daughter and son in law; Helen and Gerhard Kipping, Carmichael, CA; 2 sons and a daughter in law; Bill and Lea Cable, No. K.C. MO; and Harold Cable, Clark, MO, 3 daughters and a son in law; Delores Follette, Carmichael, Ca; Beverly Whitehead, Moberly, MO; and Linda and John Rutledge, K.C., MO. 3 sisters; Bernice Ripple, Higginsville, MO; Virginia Bott, Moberly, MO and Eula Mae Davis, Moberly, MO> 2 sisters in law and brother in law; Mr and Mrs. E.B. Lewis and Mary and the late Donal Cable, Moberly. 21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be wednesday, 1:30 p.m. in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery, Clark, MO. Rev. Robert Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m. at Cater's.
