HONEY ISLAND, March 28 — The Rev. Oscar Read of Honey Island Assembly of God church held final rites Tuesday afternoon at Old Hardin cemetery for Tim Hampton, 49. Burial followed under direction of Farmer mortuary of Silsbee. Mr. Hampton died in a Jasper hospital Sunday night from injuries suffered in an automobile crash.
Surviving are the wife of Honey Island; four stepsons, Billy of Kountze, James of the army, Vastel of Nacogdoches and Raymond Fowler of Honey Island; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Brown of Kountze, Mrs. Velma Mitchell of Colorado and Miss Audie Lee Fowler of Honey Island; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Jones of Kemp and Mrs. Nancy Pennington of Knoxville, Tenn.
