William Edward was a Twin, his brother died after life of 15 days. The twins were born to Cora Mae Kezar Bachelder and William Owen Bachelder, they were siblings to Margaret Louise Bachelder who was born in 1912, two years before the twin boys birth. Cora suffered from Scarlet Fever during the birth of the twin boys and she died on 3 June 1914. The brother to William Edward Bachelder lived another seven days, dying on 10 Jun 1914. Both boys were born on 27 May 1914 in Porter, Maine.
