LaCrosse -- Anna Herrman, 83, died Tuesday, July 27, at the Rush County Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 7, 1898 at Liebenthal, the daughter of John and Amelia Herman Kreutzer.

She married Stephen Herrman April 30, 1916 at Liebenthal; he died Jan. 5, 1969.

She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and Altar Society, both of LaCrosse.

Survivors include four sons, Reinhold, Harold J., and Rudolph "Whitey", all of LaCrosse, and Stephen Jr., Oakland, Calif.; eight daughters, Mrs. Henry (Esther) Schafer, LaCrosse, Mrs. Milton (Helen) Rupp, Plainville, Mrs. Lawrence (Mary Edna) Munch, Cheyenne Wells, Colo., Mrs. Irvin (Leona) Klein, Elinwood, Mrs. Kendall (Betty) Martell and Mrs. Gerald (Anita) Ruder, Hays, Mrs. Don (Frances) Holopirek, Timken, and Ruby, LaCrosse; three brothers, Alfred and Bernie, both of Leoti, and Jerome, Yuma, Ariz.; six sisters, Bertha Werth and Anna Kreutzer, both of Park, Ida Biel and Mary Bauch, both of Leoti, Loretta Kessler, Marienthal, and Lydia Schoenberger, Collyer; 38 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, LaCrosse, Father George Muller officiating; burial in the church cemetery. Rosary will be 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Janousek Funeral Home, LaCrosse. Friends may call from 9 a.m. - 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
