Simon S. SNOOK captured 5 May 1864 in "Wilderness" VA; returned home while on parole and died 18 Dec 1864, from the effects of starvation sustained during imprisonment.

Son of Peter SNOOK and Elizabeth DIEHL.
Husband of Sarah J. WEISER/Wiser Snook

Their son known as William A. Snook matured into manhood and married at least once (Harriet "Hattie" Cripe Bonner) in Cass County, Michigan during 1900. William A. Snook was listed in his brother's obit (Robert S. Snook) as living in Elkhart, Indiana in 1920. We look forward to hearing more William A. Snook and connecting him to his parents.
