Cora Wittman, 86, Quinter, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care, Quinter. She was born June 20, 1921, in Liebenthal to John and Anna Maria (Quint) Rohr. She attended schools in the Liebenthal area.

She married Elmer B. Wittman on Dec. 25, 1943, in San Francisco. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; six sons, Gary Wittman, Golden, Colo., Leon Wittman, Shawnee, Dennis Wittman, Cave Creek, Ariz., Randy Wittman, Quinter, Jim Wittman, Salina, and Rick Wittman, Omaha, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park; burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter. A vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care for equipment purchases in care of the funeral home.
