Hendersonville - Clarkston Taylor Biddix, 81, of Hendersonville, passed away on Nov. 7, 2003.

He was the son of the late Charles and Lockie Biddix of Spruce Pine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee and a son, Taylor, and is survived by a son, Jerry Biddix of Etowah, a daughter, Barbara Ann Overman of Hendersonville; two sisters, Pansy Johnson of Spruce Pine, and Agnes Autry of Morganton; two grandchildren, Kelly Overman and Stacey Robertson of Candler, and four great-grandchildren.

He served four years in the Army and was a member

of Berrys Chapel Baptist Church of Spruce Pine.

A graveside service will be held Monday at noon at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Ingle officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Hedrick-

Rhodes V.F.W. Post # 5206, Hubert M. Smith American Legion Post # 77 and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter # 14.

Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
