Aged Box Elder resident dies
Edward Richards, aged 75, a pioneer of Collinston, Box Elder county, died this morning at 3:45 o’clock at the home of his son, George A Richards, 425 Sixteenth street. He has been in good health and retired as usual Friday evening but was stricken about 3 a. m.
He was born in Workshire, England, October 6, 1850, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Richards. He came to Utah 46 years ago and made his home in Collinston, where he had lived ever since.
He is survived by his widow and the following children: Matthew R. Richards of Willard; Walter R. Richards of Ogden; Mrs. Edward Call of Collinston, and Mrs. George Dixon of Camas, Idaho; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Latter-day Saint faith.
The body was removed to Larkin & Sons’ mortuary.
