Ethel G. Davis, 96, of Advance died Thursday, January 10, 2002 at the Advance Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 14, 1905 at Mountain Home, AR, the daughter of the late Jasper L. and Nancy Smith Eddings.
She was united in marriage to Louis B. Davis on Oct. 8, 1921, at Monett, AR, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1982. She also was preceded in death by one son, six brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Advance. She is survived by two sons, Louis Davis and Eugene Davis; two daughters, Wanda Davis and Juanita Fellows; one sister, Grace Davidson; 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral services were held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brad Moore officiating.
Burial followed in Morgan Memorial Park, Advance.
