Mrs. Martha Armtrong, aged 78, died at the home of her son, Goerge M. Armstrong, 1922 Ninth street west, this morning at 5:30 o'clock. Her death was caused by an attack of pneumonia. For the past few years she had been making her home with her son. The funeral services will be held from the home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. J.M. Rudy officiating. Besides a large host of friends in this city, she leaves two daughters, Mrs S.E. Heath of Chicago, Mrs Mary E Lester of Ade, Ohio; three sons, George of this city, C.W. of Lafayette, Ind., and Edwin of Sioux City and a sister, Mrs ?? Van Fleet of Kenton, Ohio.

Mrs Armtsrong was born in Dayton, Ohio August 30, 1822, of American parentage. There she was raised and married. Later she with her family moved to Odell, Illinois. From there she moved to Lafayette, Ind and fourteen years ago came to this city, where she had since made her home. She leaves a large circle of frinds who will deeply sympathize with the relatives in their sad bereavement.
