Winifred Dees Dies At Norman Home
Funeral services for Winifred Wesley, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Dees, were conducted at Norman Sunday, June 11.
Winifred Wesley Dees was born near Fort Cobb July 3, 1915, and died at his home near Norman June 8 at the age of 28 years, 11 months and 5 days. He graduated from Carnegie highschool in 1934 and moved with his parents to a farm four miles west of Norman in August, 1934, where he lived until his death. He was an excellent farmer.
Survivors include his parents, two brothers, Bert and Pvt. James Dees, two nephews and three nieces and many other relatives. Those attending the funeral at Norman included Mr. and Mrs. John Teel and daughter of Mountain View, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Teel, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Evans and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. I.V. Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Bryon Scott, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Millwee, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Millwee, Mrs. Lila Mason and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Keller and daughter, Clarence Scott and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Dees of Oklahoma City.
