Lavanis Wilburn Hall, 85, of Cassville, died February 4 at his home following a brief illness.

Mr. Hall was born December 19, 1914, in Cassville, the son of F. C. and Maude Leota {Johnson} Hall. He was a lifelong Barry County resident, a poultry farmer, and a member of Community Faith Chapel in Cassville.

He married Maxine Perdue on April 22, 1940, in Cassville.

Additional survivors include one son, one daughter, one brother, one sister, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde, Bill, Roy Hall.

Graveside services were held on February 5 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with Doyle Russell, pastor, officiating.
