Death of Charles Gerlach.
Charles Gerlach, a resident of this vicinity for the past fifty one years, died at the home of his son-in-law, Ernest J. Kunow, August 26th, after a lingering illness, aged seventy-flve years. Mr. Gerlach was born in Saxony, Germany, and is survived by his widow and eight children: Andrew of Pittsford; Charles of Shortsville; Fred of Bushnell Basin; Mrs. John Schonenmen, Mrs. Mary Heath, Mrs. Harry Kelley, Mrs. Andrew Seckles (sic) all of Rochester; and Mrs. Ernest Kunow of Pittsford. Funeral services were held at Christ church, at 8 o'clock, Sunday, Rev. Mr. Graham officiating. Burial at village cemetery, Pittsford.
