Last rites for William Felix Riddell, 91, were conducted at the residence of Sam Riddell in Canton, Miss., Tuesday morning, December 28, at nine-thirty o'clock, with Dr. John W. Laudrum of Canton officiating. Interment was made in Bluff Springs, Choctaw County Cemetery under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home of Winona. Pallbearers were Palmer Ray, M. E. Ragsdale, Herbert McMullen, Quilla Spruill, A. L. Gerard and C. O. Young, all of Canton.

Born in Choctaw County, Miss., March 8, 1857, Mr. Riddell was married to the former Bettie Brannon. Mr. and Mrs. Riddell formerly lived at Kilmichael. He passed away at the residence of his son, Sam Riddell in Canton, December 27, following an illness of two years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Mrs. W. L. Kellum, Itta Bena; four sons, T. H. Riddell and S. L. Riddell of Canton, M. S. Riddell of Moorhead and J. N. Riddell, Rome; one sister, Mrs. Ophia Reed, Eupora; and one brother, Sam Riddell, Ackerman, twenty-one grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
