Infant Son of Eupora Marshal Dies Suddenly

EUPORA, Miss.—The death of little Ernest Edgar Coleman, Jr., baby son of Marshal and Mrs. E. E. Coleman of Eupora and nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Estel Tyler of Kilmichael, on Sunday afternoon, February 4, was a source of sadness and shock to the community.

The little boy was stricken ill on Saturday and with no sign of improvement on Sunday, plans were being made to take him for hospital treatment when his, unexpected death came.

Funeral services were held at the family residence on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Messrs, L. W. Estes, J. R. Reedy and C. G. Gregory conducting the services. The special music was given by Mrs. William Dunlap, Mrs. Graydon Logan, Oscar Miller and Q. McCormick. Burial followed in the Bluff Springs Cemetery of Choctaw County with C. K. Oliver Funeral Home and the Pittman-Hooper Funeral Home cooperating in the arrangements.

Ernest Edgar Coleman, Jr., was born March 7, 1944, at the Winona Infirmary, and he would have been a year old in just a few weeks. He was a bright, vigorous, and handsome child, and a general favorite of the family, his relatives and neighboring families.

He is survived by his grieved parents, a 16-months-old sister, Martha Ann, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Springer of Clarkson, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Coleman of Eupora. Mrs. Estel Tyler of Kilmichael is the sister of Marshal Coleman.
