Mr. Yeip was born Nov. 3, 1872 in St. Clair Township, and was a resident of the City many years. He worked as a farmer and carpenter. He and the former Julia Zimmer were married April 23, 1895, and celebrated their sixtieth anniversary last April.
Mr. Yeip is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Prior and Mrs. Ellmer Prior, St. Clair; two sons, Andrew Yeip and Alfred Yeip, St. Clair; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Rose Zimmer, St. Clair.
He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Mary's Catholic church.
Funeral services will be held 8:30 A.M. Saturday in the L. C. Frederichs funeral home, and 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic church.
Rev. Harold Kreucher, assistant pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Rosary devotions will be held 8 P.M. today in the funeral home for women of the parish, and 8 P.M. Friday for men of the parish.
