PETER I. ANDERSON
Peter Isaac Anderson, 87, of 941 South Grant, died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday in Cox Medical center after an illness of two months.
A lifelong resident of Greene County, he was a member of Gibson Chapel United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mayme Johnson, 941 South Grant; two sons, Herschel, St. Louis, and Wilburn, 1116 East Pythian; a brother, Howard, 801 North Weaver; five grandchiler3en and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Gibson Chapel United Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Wilbur C. Allen officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery under direction of Herbert V. Smith.
The family will receive friends from 8 to 10 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Gibson Presbyterian Church in place of flowers.
