"Mrs. Richard Allington, 59, residing at the family home on the Hart road, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, Nov. 7, while attending funeral services for James Atkins, a neighbor, in the Atkins home on the Marsh road. The attending physician pronounces her sudden departure due to heart disease. Deceased was born in Wales township, St. Clair county, April 17, 1871. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Hall, both deceased. Her marriage to Richard Allington occurred January 2, 1892. Surviving are the husband, two son, Guy W. Allington, residing with his father, and Robt. Allington, of Port Huron; two sisters, Mrs. John McDonald, of Ruby, and Mrs. Roy Tousley, of Marine City; three brothers. Wallace Hall, Sault Ste. Ont., Ernest Hall, Roscommon and Dayton Hall, Ruby; a half –brother, Willard G. Hoffman, of Hunters Creek, Mich. Mrs. Allington was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of St. Clair, and Circle No. 1 of the same church. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Allington home, Rev. Wm. Ward, her former pastor, officiating. Burial in Hillside cemetery."
