Dorothy Pauline Robbins, age 80, of the Robbins Chapel Community, Keokee, Virginia., was born Monday, December 10, 1928., in Keokee, Virginia., and passed away at her home, Monday, May 11, 2009. She was a lifelong resident of Lee County, Virginia., and a member of Robbins Chapel United Methodist Church. Pauline enjoyed working with craft, Bluegrass music and was preceded in death by her husband. Otto Robbins; one son. Dorsey Ray Robbins; one daughter. Tammy Jane Robbins; her parents, William R. (Jake) Pennington and Pellia (Garrison) Pennington; three brothers. Jess Pennington. Charlie Howard Pennington. and Cisco Pennington., and one sister. Madella Jones., Pauline is survived by one daughter. Donna Kay Jones and husband. Shawn Jones; and one brother. Hershell Pennington. a special thank you to all of those who called or came by to visit and bring food. Your love and support will never be forgotting. Thank you. The family.Funeral services will be at 8:00 pm. Wednesday, May 13, 2009., at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, Virginia., with Rev. Roy Corbin officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm Wednesday until the time of the service. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the Robbins Chapel Cemetery in Robbins Chapel. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Funeral Home at 10:00 Thursday to go to the Cemetery.
