Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Cotten Chapel with Rev. Mike Scott and Rev. Joseph Parker officiating.
Burial followed at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Griffin Ormond; two sons, Frank Ormond and wife, Nancy of Minnesott Beach, and Curtis E. Ormond Sr. and wife, Phyllis of Aurora; one special niece, Pearl Pritchard and friend, Danny Bell of New Bern; two brothers, Randolph Ormond and Rayfield Ormond, both of New Bern; eight grandchildren, Wendy Wells, Buddy Ormond, Joey and John Register, Ray Ormond, Curtis Ormond Jr., Robert Ormond and Jennifer Haddock; and 14 great-grandchildren.
