Services for Boyd D. Risner, 84, of 1111 E. Ewing, who died at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday in Hall County Hospital, Gainesville, FA., where he was hospitalized a month ago while en route to Florida, will be at 1:30 pm Saturday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan. Rev. Jack West, pastor of Calary Temple, will officiate. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Risner retired from the Studebacker Corp,. in 1954 after 14 years. Born on June 2, 1892, in Ivyton, KY., he had lived here a year after returning from Flroida. On June 7, 1919, in Royalton, KY., he married Cassie Mae Fletcher, who died April 21. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Farnelli and Mrs. Bertha Dreibelbis, both of South Bend; and Mrs. Zellaree Bunn and Mrs. Lexie Feece, both of Lakeville; five sons, Linvel of Clarksville, GA; Randy of Osteen, Fla.; Carl of Lake City Fla.; Robert of Plymouth and Harold of South Bend; 26 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Carri Finnegan of LaPorte. Risner was a World War I Army veteran.
