Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Timothy R. (Barbara) Abel and Todd B. Abel, both of Woodbridge, VA, and Mary-Jo Abel, Lititz; two stepchildren, Robert L. (Peggy) Abel, Wellington, FL, and Ronald G. Abel, Louisa, VA; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. A son, Thomas E. Abel, and nine siblings preceded her in death.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Life Celebration Funeral Service 11 AM on Thursday from the Chapel of the Good Samaritan at Luther Acres, 250 St. Luke Drive, Lititz. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be no public viewing, but the family will receive from 10:30 AM until time of service and directly following. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Josephine's memory to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Lancaster County. Spacht Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 S.
