A few days ago Mr. Isaac Baker, of Coudersport, Potter county, lost his life by a shocking accident. He was aiding to handle some lumber or slabs in Dr. Ellison's saw-mill, when the circular saw caught a slab, drew him upon it and literally cut him through. He died instantly. He was about 50 years old, and leaves a family.
