Malad, Idaho - Albert S. Archibald, 68, of Malad, died Saturday morning in an Ogden hospital of complications following surgery.
Mr. Archibald was born Oct. 19, 1886 at Clarkston, Utah, a son of William R. and Catherine Stewart Archibald. He was reared and educated at Clarkston and engaged in farming at Pocatello Valley since 1911. He was married to Nancy Tims, Oct. 26, 1910, in the Logan LDS Temple. A member of the LDS Church, Mr. Archibald was an elder in the Malad Third Ward.
Surviving are his widow, Malad; four sons and seven daughters, Wayne and Eldon Archibald, Mrs. Lyman Ipsen Jr., Mrs. John Abbott, Mrs. Perscialla Abbott, Mrs. George D. Bush, all of Malad; Reed Archibald, Carlton, Ore.; Tims Archibald, Air Force, Mountain Home, Idaho; Mrs. Fred Waldron, North Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. David W. John, Samaria, Idaho; Mrs. Dale Wakley, Downey, Idaho; 42 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilford Archibald, Buhl, Idaho; Adam Archibald, Bear River City; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Atkinson, Smithfield, Utah.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. in the Malad Third Ward Chapel with Bishop Hubert Gleed in charge. Friends may call at the family home, 236 W. 300 North St., today after 4 p.m. and tomorrow until time of services.
Interment will be in the Malad City cemetery under the direction of the Benson Funeral Home.
