Robert Ruscoe, Sr., 81, III Three Years, Dead
Robert Ruscoe Sr., aged 81, of 41 Scioto Ave retired landscaper gardener, died of a complication of diabetes and heart disease at 3:30 pm today at the South Side unit of Youngstown Hospital. He had been ill three years and had been bedfast for six months.
Mr Ruscoe was born Feb 29, 1860, in Edgemond England, the son of Richard and Emily Hitching Ruscoe. He moved here from Wadsworth, O, 50 years ago. His wife, Charlotte Bryan Ruscoe, died four years ago.
He leaves two sons, William James Ruscoe of Akron and Robert Ruscoe Jr., of Youngstown, 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren
Another son, Frank Ruscoe, died three weeks ago. He leaves three brothers, Alfred of Youngstown and Stephen and David of England.
He was a member of the Foresters of America Sons of St. George, and St John's Episcopal Church.
Funeral serviced will be held at 1:40 pm Wednesday at St John's Church, where the body will like in state from noon Wed until time of funeral. Friends may call Tuesday evening at the Shriver Allison South Side Funeral Home. May 5, 1941 Youngstown Vindicator.
