Frances was born Aug. 4, 1926, at home in St. Louis to Louis and Henrietta Baumgartner. She was one of 10 children. She married William Kenneth Jones in 1950.
Frances was a supportive military wife of her husband's 31-year career in the Air Force as well as a wonderful mother to nine children. Her hobbies included working on crafts with her friends of the ladies' church bazaar group. Besides her family, the newspaper anagrams and garage sales were two of her biggest passions in life.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff at North Hills Hospital and especially Dr. Elmer Smith along with the Hurst Fire Department paramedics.
Survivors: Husband, William Jones of 59 years; sons, Lance, Kent and partner, Jay, Kevin and wife, Vicky, Greg, Brian and wife, Becky, Steve and wife, Sharon; daughters, Joyce, Jackie and husband, Bill, Pat and husband, Gary; sisters, Betty and Max Pfiefer, Marie and Charles Schmid; brothers, Rich and Nancy Baumgartner and Art and Jackie Baumgartner; grandchildren, Cortney and husband, Chico, Lindsey and husband, Steve, Whitney, Jessica and husband, Ryan, Amy and husband, Lonnie, Zack and wife, Katie, Alison, Ben, Brennan and Marc; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Caden, Brock, Brooklyn, Libby and Parker Quinn.
