Frances A. Baumgartner Jones, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 9, 2009.
Service: A celebration of life Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3713 Harwood Drive, Bedford. Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
Frances was born Aug. 4, 1926, at home in St. Louis to Louis and Henrietta Baumgartner. She was one of 10 children. She married William Kenneth Jones in 1950.
Frances was a supportive military wife of her husband's 31-year career in the Air Force as well as a wonderful mother to nine children. Her hobbies included working on crafts with her friends of the ladies' church bazaar group. Besides her family, the newspaper anagrams and garage sales were two of her biggest passions in life.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff at North Hills Hospital and especially Dr. Elmer Smith along with the Hurst Fire Department paramedics.
