On August 14, 1948 he was united in marriage to Lorraine Jobe. In 1953 they moved to Alexandria where they had made their home for the past ten years.
Mr. Sherrow died Feb. 1, 1964 at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 1 day. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine, one daughter, Ruth; three sons and two daughters by marriage; one sister, Mrs. Mada Emlry of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers: Roy, Paul and Henry of Trenton, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Feb. 4, 1964 from Zion Lutheran church in Alexandria, Rev. K. K. Hill officiated. Interment was in Kinkead cemetery, Alexandria. The pallbearers were: Bill Luettjohann, Clifford Morse, Harry Bemo, Bruno Jurchen, Glenn Isackson and Paul Jobe.
