Boling---Rachel Ernestine Sandlin, 75, of Boling, a former longtime resident of Port Lavaca, died Sunday in a Houston hospital.
She was born 29 Oct 1914, in Lago, Texas, to the late Loren P Tabor and Lydia Buller. She was the former owner of the Surf Motel in Port Lavaca.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday at the Wharton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev Ollie Southhall officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at 12:30pm in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Houston.
Surviving are a sister, Wynelle Coskey of Burnet; and a brother, W. O. "Billy" Tabor of Boling.
