Obit (Big Rapids Pioneer, Sep 1913): The funeral of Mrs. Rachel Hovey of Paris, who died Friday evening at her home in Green township after a several months' illness, was held this afternoon at 8 o'clock. Mrs. Hovey was an old resident of that vicinity, having resided there nearly 60 years. She was survived by four children, two sons and two daughters.
