Hilda Marie Glascock Allen died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs. She was 84, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Albany.
Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs Thursday from 3 pm. to 9 pm. and Friday from 10 a.m. until religious services in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Walt Blaine. Interment will follow at Beech Ridge Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Laura Marie and Dennis Brose of Baton Rouge and Florence Yvette Lusk of Central; two sons and daughters-in-law, Louis W. Sr. and Sophia Allen of Denham Springs and Darryl and Wendy Allen of Maurepas; two sisters, Addie Walker of Denham Springs and Eursula Brignac of St. Amant; brother, Ted Glascock of Walker; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Howell Allen; father, Lude Eugene Glascock; mother, Nettie Larrisa Glascock; and four brothers, Kermit M., Elzie, Lloyd and Louis Glascock.
She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Denham Springs. Memorial donations may be made to the Northside Baptist Church Building Fund.
