George Appel, 69, well known New Sharon man, died suddenly of a heart attack on Wednesday morning in the bank here. Mr. Appel, who had been suffering with heart trouble for some time, had been sitting reading the paper and talking, when he suddenly complained that he needed fresh air. Within two minuted he had died. Dr. Wallace was called, but it was too late.
He is survived by his widow, a son Karl, of Boston, Mass., another son M.L. Appel, who live three miles south of New Sharon, and a sister, Mrs. Marq Ashton who reside in Colorado.
