Frances Faye Josey went to be with her heavenly father on May 8, 2009. She was born on October 30, 1938 to the late Bud and Tennie Mason. She was preceded in death by her sister Doris Lester and her brother Gene Mason.

Frances leaves behind her husband of 29 years, Royce Josey of Post; three sons, Jeff Williams and his wife Jami of Post, Robbie Williams and his wife Marta of Post, and Rodney Josey and his wife, Lisa of Sulphur Springs; one daughter, Karen Conner and her husband Tony of Midland; two brothers, Jake and Bob Mason of Brownwood; two sisters, Pat Kelley of Snyder and Brenda Mason of Lubbock, as well as 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Frances lived most of her life in Post where many people grew to know and love her. Frances was a devoted Christian and a member of Family Harvest Church in Post. She not only adored her family, but she also enjoyed the friendships that she made with so many through her kindness, her open heart, and her sense of humor. Frances' door was always open and her home was always full of dear friends and family that she loved.

Services for Frances will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 at Family Harvest Church in Post with Pastor Joey Hamlin and Tony Conner officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
