MRS. DORA HOUSE AT REST
-Mrs. Dora House, age 66 years, a resident of Rathdrum for the last 18 years, died at her home here Nov. 17, as the result of a paralytic stroke received about two weeks before. The funeral was held from the Community Methodist church Nov. 19 in the afternoon, the Rev. J.C. Harvey officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove cemetery.
-Mrs. House, whose maiden name was Dorothy Bunyan, was born in Lisbon, St. Lawrence county, New York, on October 12, 1854. With parents she moved in the early sixties to Owatonna, Minn. In that state she married on Dec. 25th, 1872, to Elwin D. House. Three children were born, two of whom died in childhood. The family came to Idaho in December, 1902. Mr. House died Nov. 13, 1905, leaving his widow and young son. Mrs. House continued to reside in Rathdrum during the remaining years of her life, finding time to aid in church and club work and making many friends by her industry and kind and sympathetic nature, being held in high esteem by all.
-She leaves a son, John D. House of Malder, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. James Titterington, Elgin, Minn.; Mrs. John Martin, Owatonna, Minn.: one brother, Thomas Bunyan, Owatonna, Minn., besides many other relatives.
