Wayne Ellis Brawner Sr. , 48, 611 1/2 East B, was pronounced dead on arrival at South Hospital Monday Afternoon, December 25th 1972, following a Heart attack.
He was born September 1, 1924, at Day, Mo., and had been a resident of Hutchinson the past 25 years. He was a truck Driver and a Veteran of World War II.
Survivors are the Widow, Rhea Mae, ; sons, Wayne E. Jr., 613 East B; Craig Allen., at home; daughters, Gale Ann, at home; Mrs. Lloyd Belote, Nickerson; Mrs. W.A. Schelgunov, 310 East 10th; brothers, Cecil, Nevada, Mo. ; Vernie, Quincy, Ill, ; Arlie, 617 East A; Elmer, Guymon, Okla,; Ja.es, Galena, Mo.; sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Velma) Stultz, Reeds Spring, Mo. ; Mrs. Robert (Maxine) Thornbrugh, Branson, Mo.; Mrs Annie Hopkins, 725 North Monroe, Hutchinson,; two grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson and sons Funeral Chapel, Rev. Larry R. Dutton; Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Wayne Ellis Brawner; Sr. married Rhea Mae DeWater, on April 26, 1947, in Wyandotte County Kansas. They were living in Kansas City, Missouri at the time and went over to Kansas City, Kansas and were married. Marriage number 89438 volume 116 page 152.
