Services at St. Paul's Evangelical church, corner of Tilton and St. Peter Sts., Tuesday, Sept. 27th at 2:30 P.M. Will lie in state at the church from 1:30 P.M. to time of services. Mrs. Motz was the daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Peter Wilhelmy. She was born in St. Paul June 24, 1857, and at the age of ten years she moved with her parents to Inver Grove township. She was married to Mr. Motz, son of the late Mr. And Mrs Theobolt Motz, who lived near Armour avenue in South St. Paul. The marriage took place in the home of Mr. Motz's parents on April 4, 1882. They went to Inver Grove township after their marriage, Mr. Motz being engaged at that time in farming. They lived there continuously until 1923 when they moved to Inver Grove village. Mr. Motz died on Jun 4, 1936.
Mrs. Motz had been a member of St. Paul's church for many years. She maintained an active interest in the work of the church up to the time of her death. She was one of the oldest members of the Ladies Aid Society. 27 Sep 1938 So. St. Paul Daily Reporter.
