Charles C Collins, a well-known resident of Mt.Joy township, and a candidate for the office of Prothonotary at several recent primaries when nominations for that office were to be made, died at his home on Monday night from abscess on the lungs, aged 54 years, 2 months and 15 days. He made a wide circle of friends and acquaintances throughout the county and enjoyed their respect and confidence. The funeral was on Friday morning, with services and interment at St. Mark's Cemetery. He leaves his wife and eleven children; Mrs. Harry King of Two Taverns, Charles Collins of Franklin grove, Ill., Mrs. Earl Fieser of Littlestown, Warfield Collins of Ravenswood, W. Va., Amos Rena, Bernice, Clarence, Jennings, Irma and Oneida at home; also one brother, Amos Collins, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Bucher, both of Gettysburg.
