She was united in marriage to Erlestis (Early) McCullough in Centerville, Ia. January 9, 1900. To this union six children were born. Mrs. McCullough lived in Coatsville until 1910, when they moved to Centerville, Ia., then to Rockford, Ill. in 1925 where she resided until her death.
She was a member of the Coatsville Baptist Church in Coatsville, and after moving to Rockford, Ill. she became affiliated with the First Church of the Nazarene, in which she was very active as long as she was physically able.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband, who died March 11, 1947, and four of her children.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Brown and a son, Walter McCullough both of Rockford, Ill., one sister, Mrs. Eva Barnes of Gilbert, Ariz., one granddaughter, Mrs. Sandra Mays of Rockford, Ill., and three great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, September 29, 1963 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Ben Bradbury officiating.
Music was furnished by Ilene Trimble, Mary Joyce Shively, Lester Kerby, and Sam Hurliman, with Lois Kerns, organist.
Pallbearers were Herbert McCullough, Farris Adams, Marvin Tharp, Elvin McCullough and Roe Tharp.
Interment was in Coatsville Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Normans.
