BAUMAN, Clayton S. - Peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at his home, RR 1 St. Jacobs, Clayton S. Bauman in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Lizzie (Shantz) Bauman for almost 60 years. Dear father of Reuben and Emma Bauman of RR 2 Moorefield, Mary Ann Bauman of Elmira, Nancy and Nelson Weber of RR 2 Wallenstein, Joel and Lydia Bauman of RR 1 St. Jacobs. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of Gordon and Madeline Bauman, Lincoln and Margaret Bauman, David and Eleanor Bauman. Predeceased by his parents, Menno and Leah Bauman; one daughter, Anna (1956); one son, Aaron (1976) and two sisters. Friends may call at his home, RR 1 St. Jacobs today (Friday) from 12 noon until 7 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, May 9 at 9 a.m. then to the Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
