Frank Devlin was a shoe cutter that worked out of his home at 2031 Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia. On January 24, 1894, he married Mary Jane McArthur at the Hebron Church by Rev. Robert Graham. After his death of a pulmonary embolism, she advertised his shop for sale and she was "leaving the city." She never left the city. She died in 1925 and is buried next to him.
