Susan Meier, 90, 207 W. 15th, died Monday, Oct. 20 at Canterbury Villa. She was born Feb. 15, 1890 in Ellis County, the daughter of Jacob and Anna (Weilert) Staab.
She married Alois Meier, who died in 1965. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include four sons, Arthur of Omaha, Neb., Alex of Denver, Jim of Hays, and Allen of Longmont, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Jo Eden and Mrs. Angie Rohleder, both of Hays, and Mrs. Peggy Wagner of Victoria; a sister, Mrs. Ann Goetz of Concord, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
