Orval Fenton Died Friday

Orval Fenton, of 623 North 17th Street, Centerville passed away Friday, January 26, 1962 at 8:05 p.m. at the St. Joseph Hospital. He had been in failing health since November but had been a hospital patient for only one day.

Mr. Fenton was born near Plano, Iowa, November 12,1892 the son of Milton and Elizabeth Fenton. On September 3, 1947 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Houser. He was a member of the Chariton River Baptist Church. He moved to Centerville from Exline nine years ago. He was both a farmer and a trucker.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, David, 14, and John, 12, three sisters, Mrs. Grace Herr of Centerville, Miss Rubye Fenton and Vergie Sams of Chariton, and a brother, Doris Fenton of Centerville. Tommy, a son passed away in 1957.

Funeral services will be held at the Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home Tuesday, January 30, 1962 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend G. L. LaForge will officiate. Burial will be in the Mr. Ararat Cemetery.
