Joe Cornelius Sloan, 68, of Woodruff, S.C., passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was the son of the late John T. and Janie Smith Sloan.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Pearson Sloan of the home; one son, Brian Sloan and wife, Pamela, of Raleigh, N.C., one brother, Rev. Dr. James T. Sloan; and one grandson, Pearson Lee Sloan.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Selma Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Fred Quidley and Rev. Dr. James T. Sloan.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
