Mrs. Murray passed on April 28, 2009 in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
On Oct. 31, 1941 a beautiful baby girl was born to the late John Murray and Pearline Jackson Murray in Brenham. She attended school in the Brenham Independent School District.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Murray; her four sisters, Lenora Murray, Dorothy L. Murray, Everlyin Hemphill and Willie Mae Gentry; and one cousin, Rose-A-Lee Hunter.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Pearline Murray of Giddings, Texas; three daughters, Deborah Hemphill (Harold Hugely) of Somerville, Stella Murray of Dallas, Gladys Nix of Bryan, and Patricia Ann Bradham of Philadelphia; two sons, Calvin Scott of Waco and Melvin Scott of Austin; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, including Nathan Murray of Somerville, Tamanique S. Murray of Brenham, Natrice S. Murray of Brenham, Anita R. Murray of Brenham, Janie M. White of Brenham, and Michael Murray of Waco; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
