Mrs. Marian Burback, 54, died Monday in her Clark Mills home, She was the mother of Mrs. LeRoy Peer, 417, West Embargo St., and sister of Mrs, Bertha E. Burton, 103 Parkway.
She was born in Durhamville July 9, 1896 (stone has 1895), daughter of Henry and Ella Geisnhoff Havener. She married Willian Burback Oct. 4, 1916 in St. Francis Church, Durhamville.
The family had resided in Durhamville until moving to Clark Mills about five years ago. She was a member of St. Francis Church and its Altar-Rosary Society.
Surviving besides her husband, , Mrs. Peer and Mrs. Burton are four sons, Bernard and Carl, Canastota; Kenneth, Durhamville; and Leo, Oriskany Falls; four other daughters, Mrs. Mary Schreiner, Chittenango; and the Misses Teresa, Veronica and Irene, all of Clark Mills; one brother; Paul Havener of Munnsville; three other sisters, Mrs. Lauara Staudt and Mrs. Arthur Perkins, both of Oneida and Mrs. Agnes Jones, McConnelsville, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
