Grace was the oldest child of Ripley and Laura(Johnson) Bondurant. And big sister to Arthur,Horace and Cecil.
Wife to John Francis Dougherty and Mother to Mary Jane.
Grace was an educated woman attending college and dedicating much of her life to education working as both a teacher(As did her father Ripley) and an administrator in the Douglas Co. education system.
She was loyal to her family living most of her life in the home of her parents, and returning with her daughter to the family home when her father died of TB leaving behind his wife Laura.
She kept the family bible records started by her parents who received it as wedding gift,and after her passing, brother Cecil(and wife Edna) carried on her legacy which continued through their only child Alan.
Buried in Kinkead Cemetery along with Fremont Bondurant and Serepta Bondurant her aunt and uncle (the youngest of John and Viletta's children)
