On January 22, 1907 she was united in marriage to Henry Dau. They farmed in Hudson township.
She died March 1, 1967 at the age of 82 years. Surviving are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Hannah Lommen, Raymond, Mildred (Mrs. Earl Okerlund) and Russell, all of Alexandria. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters: Wm. Lorenz, Henry Lorenz, both of Hudson township, Herman Lorenz of Benson, Mary (Mrs. Ralph Achter) of Alexandria and Freda (Mrs. Walter Higley of Osakis, and Harry Lorenz of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.
Funeral services were held March 4, 1967 from Zion Lutheran church in Alexandria. Rev. K. K. Hill officiated. Pallbearers were: Walter Rabehl, Emil Johnson, Ed Lommen, Vance Doebber, Fred Olson and Wm. Diekman. Interment was in Kinkead cemetery, Alexandria.
