Nellie M. Shuck, 104
MONROE CITY - Nellie May (Nelle) Shuck, 104, of Monroe City and formerly of Ralls County, was born to Oliver M. PEDEN and Lucy Leona LOWE.

She was married to Ira Austin SHUCK on July 10, 1916, in Center. He preceded her in death February 2, 1956.

Survivors include her [maternal] half-sister, Velma Berrey of West Point, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her [maternal] half-brother, James Hufford; and her [maternal] half-sister, Marie Gahr.

Mrs. Shuck and her husband farmed in the Johanna Community in Ralls County for many years. Later they lived in Monroe City.

Mrs. Shuck was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Altar Society, the Legion of Mary and the Daughters of Isabella.

She attended Ralls County and Hannibal schools.
