CHILLICOTHE - Ruth M. Jackson, 84, of Lafayette, Ind., formerly of Chillicothe for 50 years, died at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.
Born July 22, 1917, in Tamms to James Joshua and Estelle Hargis Coleman, she married Thomas Lynn Jackson. He died in February 1983 in Chillicothe.
One daughter, Jacqueline Jean Wollen in 1990, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Walter (and Connie) of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Lynda (and Don) Kelly of Lafayette, Ind., and Carol (and Robert) Dawson of Round Lake; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
She attended First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe.
Private graveside services will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Edelstein. Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
