Milda Holt Murray, 90, died on February 25, 1990 in Sandy, Utah of pneumonia.


She was born April 23, 1899 in Hebron, Washington County, Utah. She was one of ten children born to George Albert and Nancy Jane Hunt Holt.


Married Robert Miller Murray on December 5, 1917 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1969.


She lived in Enterprise, Tooele, Murray, Clearfield, and Sandy, Utah. She sent her entire life in service to her family and the LDS Church. She faithfully filled calls to numerous positions in the church, including two stake missions and a full time mission to California with her husband in 1957-58. She served ten years as temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple.


She is survived by one daughter, Myreta M. (Newell, deceased) Judkins, Clearfield, Utah; three sons, R. Fenton (Delsa) Murray, Sandy, Utah; Leo A. (Betty) Murray, Murray, Utah; Wendol M. (Carol) Murray, Long Beach, California; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Leland A. Holt, Enterprise, Utah.


Funeral Services will be held at noon on Friday, March 2, 1990 in the Murray Fifth Ward Chapel, 495 East 5600 South, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah, on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday at the Ward Chapel from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
