SIKES — Graveside services for James R. Erskine will be at 11 a.m. today in Wright Cemetery with the Revs. Terry Brantley and Joe Thornton officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Southern, Winnfield.
Erskine, 82, a native of Sikes died Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997, in Parkview Guest Care Center, Winnfield.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Effie Taylor Erskine of Olla; one daughter, Sharon Dutra of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, W.C. Erskine of Sikes and C.J. Erskine of Winnfield; four sisters, Ethel Parker of Winnfield, Florence Parker of Sikes, Myrtis Catanese of Shreveport and Bertie Cicerro of Shreveport.
Friends may call from 8:30-10 a.m. today in the funeral home.
